The next Mr Bear Austria election is coming – and it’s going to be frosty!
The Austrian Bear Community warmly invites you to Vienna for the Frosty Bear Weekend 2025, taking place from Thursday, 11 December to Sunday, 14 December 2025. ❄️🐻
This four-day event brings together bears from Austria and across Europe to celebrate community, diversity, and winter vibes – all in the magical setting of Vienna during the festive season.
✨ The highlight of the weekend? The Mr Bear Austria 2026 Election – a celebration of pride, personality, and bear power.
🎉 Alongside that, a colourful supporting programme is in the making – from clubbing to culture, sauna to schnitzel, Christmas markets to cosy meetups.

Getting to Vienna
- ✈️ By plane: Vienna International Airport (VIE) offers direct flights from most European capitals.
- 🚆 By train: Excellent connections via ÖBB (Austrian Railways) from neighbouring countries.
- 🚌 By coach: Services like FlixBus provide affordable travel options.
- 🚗 By car: Vienna is well connected via motorways (A1, A2, A4).
Local transport
Vienna boasts an outstanding public transport network – fast, reliable and safe. Use the underground (U-Bahn), trams and buses to get around. Apps like WienMobil or Google Maps help you plan your route. Tickets are available via machines or mobile apps.
Currency & Payments
Austria uses the Euro (€). Most shops and venues accept cards, and cash machines (ATMs) are easy to find.
